ArchiFab USA was proud to attend the 2015 March 6-8 Home and Garden Expo at Phoenix stadium. 31,293 People attended the March show and 84,781 people visited the two show this year combined.
Our staff was over whelmed with the amount of interest people had in shade sails and our Suntech permanent umbrella.
Most projects consisted of backyard renovations and they were looking for a shade sail over their pool or Barbeque area. Using shade sails we can fit just about any area.
The residential shade sail market really seems to be taking off…
A few the of most common questions through the weekend were:
“How long do shade sails last?”
– Our most common question. Our standard shade cloth is warranted for 10 years against sun degradation and we off a 5 year workmanship warranty. Done right with very little maintenance your shade sail should last you up to 10 years in Arizona
“How much do shade sails cost?”
– Most our turnkey shade sail installations with in Arizona range from 10 dollars a square foot to 17 dollars a square foot.
“Can you connect a shade sail to my home?”
– Yes and no , we prefer not to connection to home because it was not design to have a shade sail pulling on it every day.
“Are HOA’s OK with shade sails?”
– From our experience it is best to call the board and feel them out on the requirements to installing a shade sail within the HOA. Once you have some guideline the typically ask for a rendering or design for approval. If you have any questions regarding HOA approval we would be happy to help.
